San Juan Mountains with 18,000+ feet in elevation gain , summiting at 11,500 ft this is the nations toughest mountain bike race.  Kevin pulled off a podium with a 3rd place finish 11hr30min.  Zack showed his mettle finishing in 13hr27min for 8th place.

Kevin 2nd at Superior Road Race
Superior, AZ - With the help of super domestiques Chuck Royalty and David Gay, Kevin Riseborough proved his climbing legs are in good form with a 2nd place finish at the Superior RR.

White Tanks Park, AZ - It was a great day indeed for the San Tan Racing Mountain Bike Team at the AZ State Championship Series #3 MTB race.  Again STR dominates the podium in its chase for the MTB team state championship.  Marcus "Shock & Awe" Hayward dominates while Zack Heim follows him in for the Men's Expert 1-2 punch.  Kevin Riseborough makes a brilliant come from behind victory after an early flat in the Mens Marathon.  Dave Green finally avoids mechanicals to cruise to an easy win in the Men's Sport field.

San Tan Racing dominates the competition to pull off a 1st place finish in this years 24 hours inThe Old Pueblo mountain bike race.  San Tan Racing competed in the highly competitive 5 person Coed division completing 22 laps (334 miles) in 24 hours.

Success at Usery Pass Time Trial and Road Race!
Dave Green lands another podium for the STR road team with a 3rd place finish in the Men's CAT3 Time Trial.  Several STR members enjoyed the great racing weekend with notable finishes in the Road Race by Marcus Hayward (5th, Men's CAT5) and Zack Heim (6th, Men's CAT4).  Way to go San Tan!

Victory at McDowell!
McDowell Mountain Park - McDowell Meltdown
STR had the numbers to overcome a plague of mechanicals at the 1st MBAA mountain bike race of the season.  Marcus Hayward hammers to an impressive victory in the men's Expert division.  Zack Heim followed with a 4th place finish in his 1st Expert race, while Brian Torbit makes his 1st trip to the podium with a 4th place Men's beginners finish.  Great Job Guys!  Check out Photo's Here.

MTB team represents STR with solid results
John Rippel hammers to an expert class 3rd place at the Papago Peddler while Marcus Hayward mixes it up in the pro field for a 4th place finish.  John also pulled off a hard fought 4th place finish in a tough Southern California field in the Southridge Series. Great job guys!

Happy New Year San Tan Racing!

STR to Honor Fallen Cyclists
San Tan Racing will  participate in a "Ride of Honor" to honor local cyclists who have lost their lives due to  traffic accidents recently.  Visit www.azbrumbys.com for more info.  After the Ride of Honor many STR members are planning a training ride to End of Pavement.

The Flying Wombat Scores San Tan's 1st Victory!
It came by the way of the trail, 50 miles worth.  Kevin Riseborough decimated the field to win the 2006 Dust Devil Series - McDowell Marathon event.
